How Do You Price?
For each completed project, there is a three step process from
beginning to end.
First, at no cost, a rough sketch of the design will be completed.
Second, a more detailed design will be completed which will also
include a design and a printing fee. Because the second design is
done by hand, the design fee covers the time and labor in
creating artwork that complements your chosen theme, color,
and style. For each secondary design, there is a fee of $100. Any
additional modifications will incur a fee of $35.
Lastly, once a final design has been approved then a final proof
will be created and printed to order. The printing fee includes
the production fees as well as any materials. For most projects,
sturdy 100 pound card stock is used in a 4 color printing press to
create a vibrant and lasting memory of your special event.
Envelopes, Ribbons, and labels are offered in a wide array of
colors, sizes, and styles. For most invitations and
announcements, the charge per piece ranges from $1.50 to $4.50.

picture you would like to mimic, a certain color scheme, or just
an image you would like to work around. Before beginning any
new design, I will review the specifications for size, orientation,
color, and layout to ensure that the artwork reflects the right
mood and tone for your event.
One week after the initial consultation, proofs of the artwork will
be sent for your approval via email. Once a final design is
selected, text (font, color, size, and wording) will be chosen as well
as any accessories (envelopes and ribbon).
Once all elements of the paper suite are confirmed, the final
product will to go print. Please note that printing takes an
additional 1 - 2 weeks.
How do you print?
Printing is done by a professional four color printing press to
ensure that the colors are their brightest and the design is sharp
and defined.
How do you ship?
FedEx or FedEx Ground.
Do I get to keep the original artwork?
Because of copyrighting complexities, Brake Ink retains the
original artwork. Each piece is preserved should there be a need
to use the artwork in another design capacity. However, for an
additoinal fee you may purchase the original work of art.
